Spain fest honors Iran short

Iran short film ‘Retouch’ has succeeded to receive Shorts TV Award from the 20th edition of Mecal Pro short Film Festival in Spain.

'Retouch' managed to attend the competition section of the Spanish film event and won Shorts TV Award from the notable short film festival.

Co-produced by Kaveh Mazaheri and the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ tells the story of a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes while she cannot do anything but to witness the unfolding of this tragic event.

'Retouch' has recently won a series of top prizes from other international festivals, including the 4th Short Movie Club Film Festival in Belarus and the 9th session of Cinalfama Lisbon’s International Film Festival in Portugal.

The 2018 edition of the event commenced from March 13 to April 1, in Barcelona, Spain. The event is currently underway.
